What locations do you offer?

  • Our services are currently provided from our Kansas City, MO location.

However, we are currently preparing our newest facility in Phoenix, AZ, and will begin accepting orders in the near future. We are constantly looking to expand, and we welcome any suggestions for our next potential location(s). Please do not hesitate to contact us with your suggestions.

Am I able to upgrade/downgrade my service if needed?

  • Yes, as a customer of Sullivan's Hosting, you have the ability to upgrade or downgrade your service as needed. We offer flexible options to accommodate your changing requirements and ensure that you have the appropriate hosting solution for your needs.

What are the differences between KVM VPSs and OpenVZ VPSs?

  • KVM VPS (Kernel-based Virtual Machine) and OpenVZ VPS (Open Virtuozzo) are two virtualization technologies that are used to host virtual private servers. KVM VPS offers full virtualization, allowing customers to run various operating systems independently with dedicated resources and total kernel management. OpenVZ VPS, on the other hand, uses container-based virtualization, which shares the host's kernel and resources among numerous containers, resulting in more effective resource use but restricted kernel-level customisation. Finally, the choice between KVM and OpenVZ VPS is determined by individual needs for isolation, customization, and performance.

What are the differences between your budget and premium plans?

  • One significant difference is that our premium plans use solid state drives (SSDs) for lightning-fast performance, whereas our budget plans use classic hard drives or SAS drives. Furthermore, our premium plans provide comprehensive management services, ensuring trouble-free operation, whereas our budget options are more hands-on. Whatever your needs, Sullivan's Hosting provides the ideal hosting solution for you.

How long does it take for my service to be activated?

  • We take pride in providing instant service activation for the majority of our offerings. With the exception of special configurations, our dedicated server plans are typically set up within 24 hours, while the actual setup time usually falls within a shorter time frame of 30 minutes to an hour. However, for custom setups or rent-to-own options, the setup process may take 1 to 7 days, or even longer, after the order is placed. Please keep in mind that precise setup timings will be shared and confirmed ahead of making an order to provide transparency and clarity.

Do you offer additional IP Addresses?

  • During the checkout process, you have the option to add up to 5 additional IPv4 addresses for $1.50 per month per IP address, and if you require a larger block, simply submit a support ticket and we'll be happy to provide you with a customized quote.

We are currently in the process of implementing IPv6 support. Once it becomes available, we will provide free IPv6 addresses for all services, including both new and existing ones.
